FAQs

Tricking is a spectacular training discipline that combines elements of martial arts kicks, flips and twists from gymnastics and breakdancing moves. It's a creative form of self-expression through movement, focusing on aesthetics and pushing the boundaries of what the human body can do.

Not at all! We welcome beginners and have structured training programs to help you progress safely from the basics. Having a background in martial arts, gymnastics, or dance can be helpful, but it's absolutely not required.

Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for a full range of motion is best. T-shirts, sweatpants or athletic shorts are recommended. Avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or other hard elements that could cause injury during flips.

Like any athletic activity, tricking carries some inherent risks. However, we prioritize safety with proper progression, qualified instruction and appropriate equipment. Beginners start with basic movements and gradually work up to more advanced techniques as they build strength, flexibility and body awareness.

For beginners, 1-2 sessions per week is a good start to allow your body to adapt to the new movements and recover properly. More experienced trickers often train 3-4 times per week. Listen to your body and remember that quality training is more important than quantity.

The Balkan Gathering is our annual event that brings together trickers from across the Balkan region and the whole world. It features workshops with international guest instructors, competitions, open training sessions and social events. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn new techniques, make connections in the tricking community and showcase your skills.
